6 Month Check-up and Sippy Cup

Ainsley was 20 pounds and 27 inches at her 6 month check-up. Dr. Grisham asked if she was using a sippy cup yet. We were thinking she doesn't really try to hold her bottle, how will she hold a sippy cup? So, then we were curious. We bought a sippy cup and let her try to use it. Well, she can hold it just fine, but she does not have the tilt down just yet. She puts it straight in her mouth and trys to suck that juice right up like using a straw. Ainsley was working very hard to get a little drink on her own! I am sure she will be there before we know it!!

I think it's stuck!

Daniel is still struggling with getting Ainsley's clothes on and off. If it were up to him she would wear button up outfits everyday!

Still Working On It...

I have been asked to post some pictures of the house now that we are in, but I can't seem to get it organized yet. Trying to unpack with a 5 1/2 month old is hard, but I hope to be finished soon and I will post pictures as fast as I can. I was able to post some other things tonight, so I hope this will wet your whistle!!

Happy 1st Mother's Day to Me!!

Here are some photos from my 1st Mother's Day.

Daniel took Ainsley this morning after he got dressed, so I could finish getting ready for church. When I walked into the den she was passed out in the chair with him. I guess all the excited from giving me my Mother's Day present (a wonderful video camera) just wore her out!

Me with my beautiful baby girl!

Corvette Baby

Papa (my Dad) gave Ainsley this onesie for Christmas. Do you think this means she gets his Corvette when she learns to drive (or at least a Barbie Corvette)?

What a Mess!

When Daniel feeds Ainsley he lets the food stay on her face until she is done!
