Ainsley must be highly sensitive to bug bites. She has gotten them on the side of her face and her arms and legs before and they swell and feel like a knot is under them. Of course the ones that get on her face bother me more than anything. I picked her up from daycare Thursday and noticed a bite on her eyelid, but did not think much about it. Friday morning she woke up and my sweet baby look like this. I know she will get bug bites forever and ever, but this is upsetting! Needless to say I had to call the doctor. She prescribed something to make the swelling go down and thank goodness it worked very quickly. Ainsley did not seem the least bit bother by it though.

Poor baby! Corbin swells like that and gets those knots with mosquito bites but thankfully we haven't had any on his eyes. We use After-Bite cream for kids on him and it seems to work well. Give Ainsley a squeeze hug from Aunt Kaki.
Love yall!
awwww! poor thing! camp does the SAME thing - but the whole side of his face will swell up! (he only does this on his head - not his appendages) when we are in the depth of mosuito season, we use Avon Skin So Soft lotion - it smells good and not sticky/stinky like off - and he can wear it all day! our doc recommended that since it is obvious he is allergic to mosquito bites! bless ainsley and i hope it gets better soon!
ps- i call the doc everytime =) it scares me too! they always say "if he is breathing okay, then he is fine" - and im like, yeah that makes me feel ALOT better! ha!
