Look at the difference between a 4 day old baby and a 4 month old baby! Ann Elise is sooooo tiny and next to Ainsley she could pass for a baby doll! Ainsley was never quite that small, but it is amazing how much she has grown in such a short time.
Ann Elise, Matt and Kelly had a long night, so they were trying to catch some z's while we were there.

Rice Cereal!!
Ainsley started eating cereal a few weeks ago. It is okay, but she is not wild about it. Here is her commentary on the situation.
I don't know why, but I'm getting my picture taken again.
What did Mommy just put in my mouth?
I am not really liking this! Please don't make me eat anymore!!

4 Months Old
Ainsley is 4 months old and working hard to figure out how to roll over, sit up, and stand up (with our help)! She is very entertaining and we could spend all day just staring at her. I find it hard to remember what we did without her (besides get some naps in every once in a while), but I guess I will manage without those. We are so blessed to have this child and I would not trade being her Mother for anything in this world! We love this little girl with all our heart and more.

I Got The Picture
Mary Frances slept right through her photo session for me today at lunch, but I can finally post her picture. She is a beauty with a head full of hair. Today was her two day check-up and besides a little jaundice she is doing great! Mom and Dad are tired, but hanging in there.
Just snoozing, snoozing, snoozing!!

3 Month Check-up
Ainsley had to go to the doctor today and did great.
She is 25 3/4 inches long (95th percentile), 17lbs 1oz (97th percentile), and head circumference was in the 50th percentile. I don't really know what all that means, but she is perfect to me! I was a little worried I would be told she was too "healthy", but she was just a hair over the weight recommendation for her age and Dr. Grisham was not worried. I was even told to start giving her rice cereal twice a day. I did have to witness another round of shots. I missed out on the shots at 6 weeks and Daniel said it was horrible. This time was not bad. Of course she cried, but recovered quickly and went right to sleep on the ride home. She has been in a great mood tonight and does not seem to be affected one bit.

Trips to the Mall
Ainsley is just like her Mommy... SHE LOVES TO SHOP!! We have be shopping the past 2 Saturdays and this time she got to ride in her stroller w/o the car seat. Papa was with us and he pushed her all over the mall. She loved her freedom and the feel of the wind in her hair (ok the wind on her head)!! Ainsley also saw the Easter Bunny! As you can see from the picture she could have cared less. No smile - nothing, but at least she was not screaming and crying like the little boy before us. I am sure that will happen next year!
