Our Little Cowgirl

Ainsley went with her Gigi and Papa to visit my Uncle Richard and Aunt Myra Saturday. She also met Rudy for the first time. Rudy is my Uncle's little horse and he is just Ainsley's size. We were told that she was not scared at all and loved Rudy very much. We found that out Sunday when we passed our neighbors farm and Ainsley pitched a fit to ride the horses. So, we may have to buy our little cowgirl a horse!!

Sprinkler Fun!

We could tell Ainsley was bored Sunday, so Daniel suggested getting the sprinkler out. I don't know who had more fun Ainsley or Daniel.

Ainsley loves to play in the water and the sprinkler was no exception.

I don't know how many times she let it spray her right in the face.

Daniel had fun too!!

It was so funny to watch her try to drink from the sprinkler. As it went lower so did she!

Monkey see monkey do! (Daniel is such a copy cat! Kidding of course!) Whatever Daniel does Ainsley has to try to do too.

It's Time...

Ainsley has climbed out of her bed several times lately, so we decided to turn her crib into the toddler/daybed. Of course I could not get the picture of her reaction to seeing the crib w/o one side, but she was soooooo excited. I love the bedding and it looks so cute w/ her pink and brown bedroom walls. We will see if she shows up in our room tonight or not, but at least she won't have such a long fall to the floor now!

FYI: (Mama) the bookshelf is now attached to the wall.

Lookin' Good @ 60!!

Daniel's Mom had her 60th birthday this past Thursday, so we had to have a party for her. We told Mimi that we were going to have a cookout at our house for her birthday. With 20+ immediate family members that was a believable story, but we forgot to mention that we were going to invite a few non-family members. It was a semi-surprise party! I believe everyone had a wonderful time. We had tons of food and a great cake. Hopefully I will get the group picture to add later, but thank you to everyone who was able to come over Saturday to celebrate with Sherron!

Beautiful appetizers and dessert! Saturday was Holly's birthday and next Saturday is Kelly's birthday, so we did mini cakes for them too!

Little Stroller, Big Kid

I got Ainlsey a baby doll stroller b/c she loves trying to push her stroller around and it is just too big. I should have know she would want to be pushed around in the new stroller too!

This is the response I got to... "Ainsley, can I take your picture?" I guess that was a "No!".

Daniel is too tall for a regular umbrella stroller, so this was ridiculous!
(Please ignore Layla's bright yellow eyes. She does not have special doggy vision!)

She still was not in the mood to pose for a picture, but she did put her high heels on for it!

Lots of July Birthdays

Happy Birthday PawPaw, Gigi and Wes. Sorry to PawPaw for not having the camera at his birthday supper and sorry to Gigi and Wes that I did have the camera at your celebrations.

Of course Ainsley was helping to open Gigi's presents.

Not the best picture of the 3 of us, but w/ Ainsley walking in and out it was the best we could do.

Wes only turned 12, but look at that flame!!

Biloxi (lots of pictures)

We went to Biloxi for a long weekend. Why Biloxi? Because Daniel's company had been doing some work there and had a now empty/already paid for condo that we could stay in for FREE. So we decided to take Ainsley to the beach. She did not care for the sand, but loved the ocean and pool. We also took Ainsley to the Discovery Center. That was a lot of fun. They had a grocery store, train, boat, kitchen, tree houses, bubbles, etc for the kids to play in/on/with.

The water was so shallow we could walk forever and only be ankle deep.

Again the water was so shallow Ainsley's bottom was sitting in the sand.

She would have run for miles if we would let her.

Please don't make me put my feet in the sand.

Lets go Mama.

Should I admit that Ainsley had a great time here? They had loud music playing and she danced the entire meal.

Daniel really did just pay attention to her and not the waitress.

Ready for the pool.

She did not keep the floaties on for long and was jumping to Daniel.

She was not scared one bit of the water.

Ainsley had a tea party on the train.

Got "fresh" vegetables at the grocery store.

Looked out the window on the wooden train that was outside.

She also fried some bologna in the cafe (she must have learned that from her Daddy).
