Cupcakes

Ainsley's daycare is having an Easter Egg Hunt tomorrow, so I decided to make some cupcakes to take for the kids. Can you believe Ainsley had to try one out before I could wrap them up. If you couldn't tell she loved them!!

Cute cupcakes.

Bubbles, Bubbles, Bubbles

Ainsley loves to be outside. What kid doesn't? She talked Daniel into buying her some bubbles at the greatest place on Earth... Wal-Mart. Of course, when we got home they had to go out and blow bubbles right away. I don't know how many bubbles she actually blew, but she had the best time anyway!

Ann Elise is 2 too!!

Our youngest niece, Ann Elise, turned two Friday and we went to her birthday party this afternoon. Ainsley had a great time running all over the gym and eating ALL kinds of sweet treats.

The party food was set up like a candy shop. There were marshmallows, brownies, ice cream, suckers, gummy bears and much more!

Funny Little Girl

Ainsley has been full of herself lately. This morning I gave Daniel a little peck good-bye, while she stood beside me. She proceeded to say "That's yuck!" I guess she already thinks boys are gross...including her Daddy.

Potty Update

I needed to post this statement to myself, so I will have a reference down the road.

Ainsley has been totally potty trained (no. 1 and no. 2), since our very stressful 4 days of potty training in January. She only had 3 accidents at daycare in the first 2 weeks, but no accidents since then. Even with those accidents I was told she was on her way to the potty, just was a little late putting down a toy or two to head that way. Mrs. Hudson (her babysitter) has bragged and bragged on how well Ainsley did with the entire process. She started telling whoever was near by that she had to go potty by day 3 and even makes it all the way to Tupelo everyday without a problem. She is still sleeping in a pull up at night, but it is dry 99% of the time when she wakes up and does not use one at nap time. I am thrilled to have gotten so lucky b/c I know it is not easy for so many other parents. Thank you Lord for getting me through this major lesson in her life!
