6 Months Forever...

I got a wonderful baby present (actually 2) from 2 different showers - thanks Valerie (bunco shower) and Melissa and Carol (church shower). I finally used one to get Ainsley's hand prints and footprints done at Midnite Pottery. The child has to be at least 6 months, so you know me, I was there on her 6 month birthday to have it done. It took about 4 weeks for them to make the entire piece, but it turned out beautifully and this is the only way she will be 6 months forever!!

One Knee At A Time

I don't have pictures, but I had to mention that Ainsley crawled forward for the first time last night. She moves her knees about 2 times and falls on her belly. It is so cute to watch her get all motivated, like she is really pumping herself up to go!!

Ainsley's 6 Month Photos

I am so happy with Ainsley's 6 month photos. Richard and Linda Houck (Houck Portraits in Booneville) are Daniel's Aunt and Uncle. They did our wedding photos and now will be taking our family photos for years to come. Everyone had to jump around like crazy people to get some great smiles and I really appreciate it.

Happy Father's Day!!

I had my camera with me all day and finally took a picture at bedtime for Daniel's first Father's Day. Can you tell that Ainsley has him wrapped around her little finger!

Before and After...

Daniel's Dad started building our deck on Tuesday and by Friday the back of our house looked like an entirely different place. I can't wait to get it stained and get everything put in its place!

6 Month Check-up and Sippy Cup

Ainsley was 20 pounds and 27 inches at her 6 month check-up. Dr. Grisham asked if she was using a sippy cup yet. We were thinking she doesn't really try to hold her bottle, how will she hold a sippy cup? So, then we were curious. We bought a sippy cup and let her try to use it. Well, she can hold it just fine, but she does not have the tilt down just yet. She puts it straight in her mouth and trys to suck that juice right up like using a straw. Ainsley was working very hard to get a little drink on her own! I am sure she will be there before we know it!!

I think it's stuck!

Daniel is still struggling with getting Ainsley's clothes on and off. If it were up to him she would wear button up outfits everyday!
