Still Building

Our house is moving along. The brick is going up this week and the sheet rock has been hung, but we are not ready to paint. We hope to be in by the beginning of March, but you can never be sure. We may have a contract on our house in Saltillo this week, so please pray that it all works out right and SOON. I tried not to worry about all of this too much while I was pregnant, so now that Ainsley is out of my belly all I can think of is selling this house before we set up our mortgage on the new house. It seems to be falling into place, but a few extra prayers never hurt!!

2 Months & 28 Years Old!!

Happy Birthday to ME!! Today I am 28 years old (man 30 is right around the corner) and Ainsley is 2 months old.

Ainsley is such a happy baby and a bit of a "chunk" too!!

Picture time takes a backseat to the bottle, so if we wanted a happy picture when we were ready she had to eat!

Thanks to my Aunt Bonnie, my Mom was told about this really cute necklace and bracelet. The disk is wooden w/ my initials carved out. I LOVE it! You can see more on tonyabarlow.com. She is from French Camp, Mississippi

My Mother-in-law gave me this wonderful purse that I mentioned I wanted. I have already got my stuff transferred too and I am ready to go!

Last, but not least Daniel added to my ring collection w/ this beautiful opal and diamond ring. He is great at picking out jewelry for me and rings are my favorite!

Bows

I am usually not a fan of the bow in a baby girls hair, but it is more the "headband" bow that I am talking about. Sorry if some of you like them, but it is not my cup of tea. But my sister-in-law, Kelly, told me about some bows that LaLa & Company carries in Amory and they are too cute! They come in a bag w/ about 10 different bows in 10 different colors and you have this "glue" that sticks them to their head. I think the glue is more of a syrup b/c is washes out really easily. Anyway here is Ainsley modeling the yellow bow for you! She will show you that you can wear it whatever your mood may be!

Give me "Sassy"

Now I need "Playful"

How about "Afraid"

On the Way to Daycare

Today was Ainsley's first day to go to her new daycare. She is staying with a lovely lady that keeps children in her home. I did do better today than yesterday with leaving her all day, but it was still very hard. Ainsley did not have a bit of trouble with the separation. She was asleep when I dropped her off, slept until she was ready for lunch and was a happy camper when I picked her up!

6 Week Check-Up

Ainsley had to get 3 shots yesterday at her 6 week check-up. Fortunately and unfortunately I had to go back to work yesterday, so Daniel took her to the appointment. He said I would be taking her for her next shots, because she cried so loud that she reached a whole new octave. Other than that she did very well and Dr. Grisham gave her an A+. I on the other hand had a very hard time going back to work Tuesday morning, but managed not to cry once I actually started working with my customers.

Ainsley now weighs a whopping 12 lbs. 4 oz. and is 22 inches long.

Don't you just love her pink camo bandaids!
